Well hello there my friends all over the world:)
What’s new in Seashel’s world? Last month (June) was busy as it is every year. I think June is even more expensive than Christmas lol. Let’s see, my niece Emmi and my sister have the same bday June 2, my niece Amaris June 4, June 15 fathers day that’s 4 guys in the Sanchez/Montes household, June 17 my birthday, June 18 Chris’s bday, June 24 our wedding anniversary, and June 30 my moms bday! Sheesh are you exhausted reading that? lol Chris just turned the big 3-0 so for his bday we went to Miami for the week, we had sooo much fun! Coming back from the trip we moved and are now in downtown Dallas.
I’ve been super busy but I have not let that get that in the way of me accomplishing my goals with health and work. Most of you that follow me on here most likely follow me on Facebook or Instagram so you know how busy I am. I am a hard worker but I must tell you as much as it looks like it’s easy it’s not. I know that in the long run, the work I put in will pay off. I pretty much work a few jobs, but I like to. I love what I do so I don’t always feel like I am working. I grew up watching my parents work really hard so it’s in my blood.
I want to share some of my secrets with you because I want you to look at life the best way possible, I want you to have the energy I have, and I want you to look at your daily grind as a blessing.
POSITIVITY- I am a huge believer in being positive. If you’re not as positive, I will be nice but I do keep my distance. Positive people want to hang out with positive people. They hang out with like minded people. Just like if you want to be successful, hang out with successful people. Trying to be more positive? You can’t be positive with a negative mind. Change the way you think.
Things aren’t always all sunshine and rainbows, but if you focus more on the blessings that come your way and are always grateful, more great things will come your way. I look at everything good or bad as a blessing in my life. The challenges I went through in my life are what made me a stronger person. The quote ” What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” has always been one of my favorites but you have to let it make you stronger. Sometimes you may not know why you’re going through the challenges you are going through but you have to FAITH it and just believe things will get better. Life is more enjoyable this way. I call it “FAITH it till you make it”.
Another thing that is important is to speak positivity about yourself. Saying ” I’m so fat” “Why me?” isn’t going to get you anywhere. You need to always speak highly of yourself and speak words of affirmation. I sometimes make these mistakes but I catch myself and I change it right away. If I don’t my husband corrects me. Sometimes I say I’m tired and he will correct me and say “No, you’re awake”.
Most importantly- You can speak positive, think positive, speak words of affirmation etc but if you don’t do the work in whatever it is you’re trying to achieve, you will not get what you want.

5 am wakeup call- My days start at 5 a.m. usually Monday-Friday even if it’s a day off. Every morning I devote an hour with my husband having our morning oatmeal and coffee . I usually get to the gym at 6 or 7 depending on if I am taking a class. I have to have an hour to just wake up, get my mind right, and spend some QT with my hubby.
Why so early? I like to get up and start my day before the rest of the world. When I wake up early I feel like I get a lot done even if I skipped the gym. Today I actually skipped the gym so I can write this blog and it’s 6 am. When I sleep in I feel like I wasted the day:(
How do I do it? I go to bed early. If you’re a night owl or it’s hard to get to sleep because you feel so awake I recommend taking sleepy time tea. #noexcuses just do it and don’t complain.
What’s my secret to my energy? Naturally I am high on life, however the real big secret is what I put in my body. I eat to live not live to eat. I eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein sources and tons of water. I do have my occasional treat meals but not everyday, 1-2 days a week at most( unless I’m on vacation hehe). Alcohol? yes but no more than once a week if I do. I am not a big drinker but if I want one then I have Vodka Press or Red Wine since it has a lot of antioxidants. My husband usually does all the cooking at the house and he will grill a bulk of natural boneless skinless chicken breast, lean grass fed beef, and vegetables for the week.

If not, we usually eat the meals from our restaurant Simply Fit Meals. It’s natural and organic, fresh, and ready to go. We also carry fresh pressed juices so when I am there I try to get one in or a wheatgrass shot.
Supplements I take- I take several vitamins a day. The Opti-Women multivitamins I’ve been taking a few years now and love it!
My supplement Stack
Smart Blend for my essential fatty acids and energy. I love it because it has a blend of fatty acids and it makes my skin glow! I do not take fat burners but I do take a pre workout. I take a few protein powders but my favorite is MRM Vanilla Whey Protein Powder. I get all of my products from Bodybuilding.com. You can even follow my Bodyspace.com/shelsea My favorite is Amino Energy by Optimum nutrition in the Watermelon and Fruit Fusion Flavor. If I’m working out in the morning, this is my morning coffee. I love taking this 30 minutes before a work out for that extra boost of energy and also because it has amino acids in it. I do cycle off of it so I don’t get immune to it. Speaking of, looks like this week I have to start cycling off 😦 Do not over do it with this. Too much caffeine is not good for you. Especially if you’re having adrenal problems.

One of my favorite morning elixirs is Amazing Grass Green Superfood! In one serving you’re getting a premium blend of superfoods that provide amazing energy and health benefits.
