I Had a great time this past weekend with some of my best friends. It has been a while since we all hung out besides the wedding.
Friday – My husband and I went to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium for the first time to watch the TCU game and it was AWESOME! After, a couple of my girlfriends came to town and we got to hang out with them. I love love love hanging out with them! I am so blessed to have a group of ladies that are just so uplifting and fun to be around! .

Saturday – We ended up driving to Austin to attend our brother in laws 30th Birthday where we got to hang out with all the family
Sunday – I got to reunite with more of my friends to participate in the first annual 5k event in honor of our dearest friend Tiffanie Perry to raise awareness towards Domestic Violence.

Currently, I am just enjoying life right now, working, and focusing on other goals in my life. I probably won’t be competing until the end of 2012 so that I can focus on those other goals. The past couple years I have been non stop competing so I really am not use to not having a fitness related goal. I like having fitness goals to hold me accountable. So Because of this I have decided to run different 5k’s and 10k’s so that I stay on top of my fitness. I will start posting more photos from the 5k events.
Here is one of my 5k event photos … actually my first one this year and I placed first in my age group I was so proud considering I was the worst on the Cross Country team in High School lol!
