Hello world,
I had another amazing past weekend! My daddy just got in town from Afghanistan and he came to the Big D with my mom Saturday. Christopher and I showed them whats up! It has been since January that I have not seen my daddy. We are all so close and to not see him that long is hard! I don’t know how my mommy does it because I go a day without seeing Christopher and I get withdrawals.
Friday: This was a chill night at the Sanchez residents since we had to get the Casa ready for the rents. Sweats, no makeup, and Cinderalla’ing it up in the kitchen!
Saturday: Christopher and I woke up early to teach a bootcamp at our restaurant Simply Fit Meals. I was the substitute teacher and they were in for a little surprise hehe. I kicked some booty! My parents arrived later that afternoon and we showed them our place and our businesses. It feels good to make our parents proud.
My dad teaches Salsa Lessons on the side, so we practiced our Father/Daughter dance for the wedding. It got me so much more excited! Christopher and I also practiced our “First Dance”.
We drove my parents around and showed them SOME of “The Big D”. We would be in the car all night if we showed them the whole city! Its huge!
Having dinner at Urban Taco with my parents.
It reminded Christopher of when he had lunch with my parents asking for my hand in marriage. It was such a nice dinner just sitting back and
talking about memories with the family.
Sunday: Breaky with the parents. Of course Christopher is the new chef for breakfast in the family. We are having a big family brunch next Sunday and he will be cooking a feast for a big family mix of Puerto Ricans, Mexicans and Chileans lol
! I ended up doing my mommy’s lashes that morning at my salon and worked half the day on the rest of my clients. I hope when I have kids they want to get involved in the beauty industry too so I can get pampered as well!
So 5 more days until the big day. We are just so excited to have our families reunite again. Our families get a long great and I love when we can all get together! I have family coming from Puerto Rico, New Jersey, Florida, Houston, Killeen, and the list goes on!I owe it all to my sister and my mommy! They have planned the entire wedding. I thought with competing this year in 4 shows that I wouldn’t be able to have my Princess wedding but they made sure that it would happen. I hope my sister and my mommy know how grateful I am. I truly appreciate everything they have done for me!
4 days: Rehearsal dinner and reunite with all the family!
5 days: The big Day!!Running in the am at Town Lake!
My favorite part of running the lake! This is where Christopher proposed so I gotta do it on The Big Day!
6 days: Brunch!!!
7 Days: Costa Rican getaway!
Congrats to you! How exciting and your family sounds very supportive and fun 🙂 I love how you incorporate healthy living at all levels. I’m sure when you have kids, they will learn great healthy habits from you.
Aww thanks Sandra!! Your so sweet! I will def have my kids healthy and athletic;)
Awesome pics! Your dad looks like a former Marine like myself? Is he active duty military or a contractor now?
Thank you! He was in the Army for 20 years and now is a contractor.
